Who controls your data

HALF LABS LTD controls personal data collected through half.ceo and direct project enquiries. Contact hello@half.ceo for privacy questions or requests.

Data we collect

• Contact details you submit, including name, work email, company, and message.
• Project information, budget range, and correspondence needed to assess or deliver work.
• Basic technical and security logs produced when site and form endpoints operate.

How and why we use it

• Respond to enquiries and take steps requested before entering a contract.
• Deliver services and manage client relationships under contract.
• Protect site, prevent abuse, and maintain business records where legitimate interests or legal obligations apply.

Sharing and transfers

We share data only with service providers needed to host site, operate enquiry form, communicate, or meet professional and legal duties. Providers may process data outside UK. Where required, we use recognised transfer safeguards and limit access to work needed.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months so we can follow context and defend legal claims. Client records may be retained for up to seven years after engagement ends where needed for tax, contract, or legal records. Security logs are retained only as long as operationally needed.

Your rights

Depending on circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is basis. Email hello@half.ceo to make request. You may also complain to UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
